Return & Refund Policy

Returns

We accept return inquiries only if you contact us within 5 days after receiving the item.

To request a return, please contact us through the contact form or by email at info@tokonamefurhouse.com.

Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all original tags and packaging, if applicable.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items with removed tags
  • Items that have been used after delivery
  • Items that have been damaged, stained, altered, or affected by odors after delivery
  • Items returned without prior approval from our store
  • Items returned after the return period has passed

Customer Preference Returns

Returns due to customer preference, including size, color, image difference, or change of mind, may be accepted only if you contact us within 5 days after receiving the item and the return is approved by our store.

In such cases, the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and other related charges are non-refundable.

Defective Items or Incorrect Shipments

If there is a serious defect not described in the product description or photos, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days after receiving the item.

After confirmation by our store, we will arrange a return, refund, or other appropriate solution.

If the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, the return shipping cost will be covered by our store.

Vintage and Pre-Owned Items

All items sold by TOKONAME FUR HOUSE are pre-owned vintage items.

Due to the nature of vintage items, natural materials such as fur and leather, and pre-owned products, items may show signs of use, storage odors, variations in fur texture, minor scratches, lining stains, name embroidery marks, or other age-related characteristics.

These characteristics are not considered defects if they are shown in the product photos, described on the product page, or reasonably expected for vintage and pre-owned items.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for safely packing and shipping the returned item.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

We are not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged during return shipping.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes on Returns

For international returns, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and other customs-related charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our confirmed error.

If any customs or import charges are billed to us upon return, such charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Refund Amount

Unless the return is due to our confirmed error, refunds will be limited to the item price only.

Original shipping fees, return shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and other related charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Most of our items are one-of-a-kind, so we generally cannot offer exchanges for the same item.

If you would like another item, please place a new order separately.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once the order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
